I’ve recently been thinking about how as humans we often spend a lifetime thinking we’re bad at something solely because we didn’t show signs of being brilliant at it as a child… which honestly is soooo absurd. Anyone can be good at anything at anytime. It just takes practice!

May was a pretty good month. I saw the release of my first published journal Finding Joy in the Journey and a week later, I was flying off to the west coast, 3,000 miles away from home. This trip wasn’t a planned celebration of my dream coming true, it was purely coincidental actually!

If you’ve been following me for a while now, you know I LOVE Star Wars. The truth is I always liked Star Wars a lot (I even had a deeper secret obsession with it in high school when I finally watched the Prequels and the new at the time Clone Wars First season), but there are two reasons now why I LOVE it even more now.

When most people think of manifestation; they associate it with wielding their personal energy to call in more money, their soulmate, a dream job, travel, or exciting opportunities. Of course, all of this is very true and are all fantastic, beautiful things to energetically align to and attract. However, don’t forget you can use manifestation for the small things; the simple everyday things that experiencing would make your life just a little bit easier.

When I was younger, I definitely thought romantic love was just about finding someone cute who you liked that also liked you, too. But once I hit my late twenties, I realized that it’s so much more than just being attracted to and liking a person. It really is all about being in alignment with a person.

One of the most common problems, one that I’ve not only experienced myself, but have had many people ask me for help with, is having trouble sleeping.
Read moreMy personal methods for manifesting anything
When it comes to the art of manifestation, it really isn’t a one size fits all type of thing. Sure the basic principles are usually all the same: use your thoughts and feelings, be grateful, know it is done. But I firmly believe each individual person should listen to their own intuition and heart and figure out what methods and rituals (or non-rituals) feel best to them.

One thing that always inspired me and really helped me hold onto hope during moments of doubt was listening to celebrity success stories. Stories from before they made it; when they were just a regular person with big dreams but were experiencing the struggle and doubt we all feel.

One form of self-care that we don’t talk too much about surprisingly is getting readings for yourself! As an intuitive reader myself, I can obviously connect on my own and gain spiritual insight - but there’s something a little extra magical when someone else reads you. I don’t know why but it feels like we almost believe the advice more when it’s coming from someone else rather than ourselves. I find sometimes when reading ourselves we often assume we’re just getting certain insights or drawing cards because it’s what we want to hear instead of what we need; so when someone else confirms our gut feelings for us, it’s that much more powerful and we feel validated.

Read moreHeal your limiting beliefs around love
In February, there’s such an emphasis on celebrating love. I know firsthand from years of being single and going on bad dates that it can be really hard if you haven’t found the one yet and really would like to. Obviously, the stereotype of single = miserable is completely untrue. I still had so many happy days while being single; still had so much love for myself, my friends, my family, my hobbies, my passion, and my life in general. Your life is still so vibrant and beautiful and valid if you’re not in a serious relationship. A relationship does not determine any part of your worth, your attractiveness, or overall lovability.
However it is okay to know you’re amazing and worthy and lovable without a relationship and still want a relationship
